Why I Started Personalized Precepting

A smiling blonde woman in blue medical scrubs standing against a plain off-white wall.

I founded Personalized Precepting after struggling as a new grad nurse myself and realizing how common that experience is. With 9 years of experience across med-surg and ICU settings, in both adult and pediatric care, I have spent much of my career training and supporting new nurses at the bedside.

I created Personalized Precepting to give new grads the guidance, repetition, and clinical thinking support that’s often missing during orientation and school.
